Albuquerque is the largest, fastest-growing city in New Mexico. It is located in the central part of the state along interstate 40, which connets the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. To the city’s east are the Sandia Mountains and right through the city runs the spectacular Rio Grande, classified as exotic because it flows through a desert, like the Nile in Egypt.
